Focus on increasing Speed, Attack and HP as much as possible. * Crowd-control: Similar to the above, but replace 'Charge' with 'Intimidate', get 'Regeneration', skills like 'Fear', 'Sleep', 'Blink', 'Teleport Other', but remember the Fighter's own low Intelligence score. Focus on getting armor that increases Speed, Faith, and Magic Defense, the rest will be provided by the skills. Get 'Dispel' and 'Sleep', 'Haste' and other Faith skills as needed, and orego Intelligence skills completely. 'Charge' is the skill to get from the Fighter's own skill tree, along with 'Frenzy' and HP boosts.
* Anti-mage: As it says, this focuses on repelling mages and other ranged fighters. I've not played in a *loooooong* time, to be honest, so I can't get into detail about class builds, but I can give you some of my favorite playstyles per class, hopefully you can find them useful:
